The New York Rangers are down, 3-2, and facing elimination in tonight's match up in Tampa Bay. But it's not the first time they have been in this situation.

The Blueshirts came back from a 3-1 deficit last year against Pittsburgh, and this year previously defeated the Washington Capitals who were also up three games to one in their series.

How many times can the Rangers come back? That's the always unpredictable and wildly wacky world of sports.

I have to give Tampa Bay credit for their relentless defensive effort in game five, they were out to prove something right from the start and they made their point with a 2-0 shut out, putting the Rangers on the brink of elimination.

New York did a decent job on defense, but they just couldn't score.

I would also say that Tampa Bay is not going to skate into the finals. In fact, I think the Rangers will win if there is a game seven!

Game six is in Tampa Bay tonight at 8pm.

This has been an exciting series, and I hope it continues to the finals.

Go Rangers!
