Dog Days of Summer?

Today's weather was perfect at least in my eyes. I love it when it's in the seventies no humidity. It's comfortable to sleep at night. You can give the air conditioner a break and last night we didn't even need a fan in the window.

Today's weather felt more September's weather, or maybe even early October weather. But I love it like this. Today was a comfortable day. I got to do some work outside and didn't even break a sweat. Tonight we are doing a cookout and having some friends over for a bonfire. We are grilling up some burgers and dogs. We went to a farmer's tent today and got some fresh lettuce, tomato, and onions. And we picked up a huge cantaloupe and a watermelon too.

Sitting around a fire drinking beer on a summer night when it's not too hot that's my idea of a perfect Saturday night.
