According to published reports, Dee Snider  is clarifying his objection to Republican Vice Presidential hopeful, Paul Ryan's use of Twisted Sister's "We're Not Gonna Take It." The rocker recently blasted the Republican vice presidential hopeful for using the band's hit at a campaign event.  I was listening to him on a talk show and he explained that he hasn't banned Ryan from using the song, he's just "denounced" it and that everyone is welcome to use the song.
I really think that if a politician, is gonna use a song, they might ought to get the proper permission to use it. The rest of us have to jump through hoops to get the proper permissions to use copywritten and trademarked material, why should THEY be above the law? In fact... these are the guys making the laws, wouldn't you think they would know something about the law? Of course that's my opinion and to me, that's the only one that counts!
