Gene Simmons Unplugged For National Anthem

It was not something we're accustomed to seeing.  Gene Simmons, sans makeup, singing.  A capella!  No pyrotechnics, no band.  Just Gene.

Gene performed the National Anthem before the Raiders game Monday night.  He is a huge supporter of the  military, so it was no surprise he had four members of the military accompany him.

Personally, I think Gene Simmons is brilliant at self-promotion.  We could definitely learn something from him.  Take a risk, get a payoff.

Back on topic; I think he did well with the anthem.  What's your take?
