Cortland County Sheriff’s officials say 37-year-old Michael Natale of Marathon is back in New York after fleeing from a domestic incident in Cuyler in August and being detained following a traffic stop in Tifton, Georgia.

Deputies responded to a report of a domestic dispute in Cuyler August 29 but the defendant had already fled when they arrived.

A warrant for Natale was issued and he was stopped for traffic violations on September 6 in Georgia.

He’s now been returned to New York and was arraigned October 11 in Town of Cuyler Court on felony counts of aggravated family offense and criminal contempt as well as misdemeanor counts of criminal mischief and endangering the welfare of a child and a violation count of harassment.

He's being held in the Cortland County Jail on $5,000 bail.
