The NHL 2015 season officially came to an end last night when the Chicago Blackhawks defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning, 2-0, to win their 3rd Stanley Cup championship in 6 years!

Chicago played an exceptional series, and much of the credit goes to the play of goalie Corey Crawford who allowed only 10 goals in the last six games.

Patrick Kane and Duncan Keith scored the final two goals of the season for Chicago. Keith was given this year's MVP award without question.

Tampa Bay fans are feeling kind of low this morning, but the Lightning had a great year also! As a Ranger fan, I know how losing in the finals can make you feel.

So we can say goodbye to hockey for now, but in just 5 short months and it will be back in action once again.

I can't help but think how the Rangers would have matched up against the Blackhawks...Oh well, go Rangers!
