Binghamton University will be holding a watch party tomorrow (Tuesday) at 10:30 AM when professor M.Stanley Whittingham is set to receive his Nobel Prize in Chemistry.  In a press release from the school the presentation in Stockholm, Sweden will be shown live at the Center of Excellence at Binghamton University's Innovative Technologies Complex.  According to the release the ceremony is free and open to the public.

Whittingham becomes the University's first Nobel Prize laureate and is among a group of three who is sharing the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for work on the development of lithium-ion batteries.  Binghamton University President Dr. Harvey Stenger is in Stockholm with Whittingham.
