
Binghamton Couple Accused of Buying Car With Counterfeit Cash

New York State Police say a Binghamton couple is facing charges following a report of a vehicle being purchased with counterfeit money.

27-year-0ld Brittany Cochran is charged with felony possession of a forged instrument while 36-year-old Hahseem McQueen is charged with felony criminal possession of stolen property.
Troopers say Cochran is accused of buying a vehicle from a private seller and using fake money to make the purchase. A day later McQueen was accused of having stolen property in connection with the case.
