Bills Blow 16-0 Lead to Texans, Bounced From Playoffs

The Bills are heading back to Buffalo after getting ousted from the playoffs, following an overtime loss to the Texans.

The game couldn't have started any better for Buffalo. Josh Allen reeled off a 40+ yard run on the first drive, just before catching a 16-yard pass from John Brown on a trick play.

The defense played lights out ball in the first half sacking Deshaun Watson four times and shutting down star Texans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins.

The Bills took a 13-0 lead into halftime. Right out of the gate in the second half there was controversy, after Texans kick returner DeAndre Carter seemed to drop the kickoff in the endzone without calling for touchback and taking a knee, with the Bills recovering. However, the ref dubiously called a no touchdown.

The Texans finally started to wake up in the second half, with Deshaun Watson grabbing a 20-yard touchdown run and a field goal brought the game within five points in the fourth quarter.

A Carlos Hyde touchdown catch in the fourth put the Texans up by three, until Steven Hauschka hit a field goal with ten seconds left to send the game to overtime.

No team scored in the extra period, until Kai Forbath hit a chip shot to win it for the Texans.

The Texans will go on to face either the Ravens or Chiefs in the divisional round.
