A Hallstead, Pennsylvania man is scheduled to be arraigned from his hospital bed in Johnson City where he has been held since being shot by police in a standoff almost two weeks ago.

38 year old James Lewis is being charged as a fugitive from justice in New York while Pennsylvania State Police say he is charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, reckless endangerment and terroristic threats in the September 12 incident at a Dubois Street home where 66 year old Stephen Esposito was seriously hurt.

Police in Susquehanna County were called to the home with a report of a dispute and say they found Lewis standing outside, armed with a gun.  After he reportedly failed to comply with several orders to drop the gun, he was shot and wounded by the authorities.
