In the Northern Tier, Bradford County's positive rate for the week jumped by 295 cases and there were three more deaths. Bradford County now has 2,442 positive test results for the coronavirus and 47 deaths.

Susquehanna County added 95 case for the week and one death for a total of 783 cases and 37 deaths.

And Wayne County's cases skyrocketed: up 362 cases for the week, topping the 1,000 mark, while last week's increase was 173 cases. There have now been 1,073 residents in the rural county in the Poconos with the coronavirus. There were 2 additional deaths over the week for a total of 14..

Broome County reports two men in their 80s and a woman in her 90s died December 13 from COVID-19. That brings the county's death toll to 154. There were 43 new positive tests for the coronavirus for a total of 6,317. There were no other new deaths reported from the pandemic in the Southern Tier.

Chenango County added 87 cases from December 11 for a total of 868. There have been 14 deaths. Cortland County reports 27 additional cases for a total of 1,911. There have been 7 deaths. Delaware County Monday reported 16 additional cases for a total of 528 and the death total unchanged at nine while Tioga County added 21 to the total of cases identified at the start of the pandemic, bringing that number to 1,392. There have been 64 deaths.
