Here at the radio station, we keep learning about more holiday light events in the region and have shared a number of them: Oneonta Festival of Lights (Dec. 18 - Jan. 1), Animal Adventure Park in Harpursville has a walk-thru "Jungle Bells" holiday light display and special dates for a drive-thru version of that. That runs now through January 2. There's also the Broome County Lights Festival in Otsiningo Park running now through January 2. A little further out, there's The Wild Wonderland of Lights in Chittenango and which runs every Thursday through Sunday until the New Year at the Wild Animal Park. Plus, the Utica Zoo is getting in on the holiday cheer with "Bright Nights in Utica" which you can see every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday through Christmas.

Outdoor holiday fun has been the theme carried over from last year into this holiday season due to COVID-19 concerns. The only hitch is potential bad weather and making sure you bundle up to enjoy some of these.

We've got another one to add to the Central New York light display opportunities...the gates at The Otsego County Fairgrounds in Morris, NY will be opening up starting on December 10 but not for amusement rides and livestock competitions – this time it’s for the 3rd Annual Holiday of Lights show. It’s a drive-through holiday light exhibit created by local businesses and organizations at the fairgrounds.  This event runs on December 10, 11, 12, 17, and 18 from 6:00 pm to 9 pm each night. You can find out more at otsegocountyfair.org or on the Otsego County Fair Facebook page.
