Welcome to April. It can only get better from here...weatherwise. Well, at least warmer. I can't promise any prediction of more sunny days versus rainy days.

In addition to the many activities that we love to enjoy during the warmer months, one of them includes a refreshing walk, stroll, hike, or whatever you want to call it, along our many trails and parks. We've been stuck inside too long over the winter months, and the pandemic probably curtailed some people's desire to get out and join their fellow hikers or to just get out and enjoy a walk in nature over the past two summers.

Fortunately, we can now feel safer getting out and enjoying our nature trails with the community, and the Southern Tier of New York has many places that are perfect to take a walk, run, or even ride a bike. Plus, it's a great thing to do to help keep you healthy. How many times have your physicians suggested you make walking a part of your healthy routine? For me, it's every visit, and I have to agree.

Let's take a look at a few of the places for you to enjoy some time outdoors in the Southern Tier. I'm betting you'll enjoy the walk and the views along the way. I've been to a few of these places to enjoy a walk, and there are a few that I need to check out.
