Summer. It's coming soon. Vacation. It's coming sooner...maybe. Hopefully. What are your plans? How about something a bit different?

You might not have the time for an out-of-state or out-of-country vacation, so maybe something closer to home would fit the bill, even if it's just for a weekend or an extended weekend.

I was checking out Airbnb for some interesting places to stay that are not far from the Binghamton area that would be a nice week or weekend getaway that's a bit off the grid with plenty of privacy.

I found this place located in Willseyville, New York, called Seahorse Tiny House in the Pines, hosted by Sam on Airbnb. Willseyville is off Route 96B between Candor and Ithaca.

Seahorse Tiny House in the Pines is one of three tiny homes that are located at Bugs in a Jar Farm. The other two tiny homes are Blue Dragon and Hummingbird.

The listing notes: "Guests will have the tiny house, the deck, the outhouse, the picnic table, and the firepit to themselves. There is a shared community kitchen and bathroom a short walk away from the main cabin. The creek, ponds, and all the woods behind are available for all."
