Drama. It a big part of life, like it or not. Some people thrive on it, along with gossip. I do not.

One way I find to escape the madness is by going on vacation. Sure there can be some stressful times during that cherished time off, but for the most part, it's just loaded with fun, relaxation and a few drinks.

Drama, you would think, has no place during your time off. Or at least that's what I thought. If your extended family is around (even your immediate family), you may get caught up in the world of "did you hear what he or she did?"

In my vacation world of camping, I have had some close neighbors who prefer to air their dirty laundry out loud. And when I mention out loud, I'm not kidding. It's like their every word is being shouted. I don't know how someone can talk that loud.

And then there are the rumblings about other campers - good, bad and ugly. Even I am not immune to that. Like the time I had a few too many delicious beverages. The next time I came into camp, everyone knew about it. Maybe the way I stumbled back to my camper was good enough to become that talk of the campground.Thankfully, what happens at camp, stays at camp.
