You Can Help Out The Broome County Humane Society
We love our animals and would do anything for them. I currently have two Greyhounds and an Italian Greyhound. Or is he is a Whippet? We don't know for sure. He's too big to be considered an Italian Greyhound, but too small to be considered a Whippet, so we just call him The Kraken, because he can emerge from underneath a blanket at any time and terrorize us, usually with lots of kisses.
If you are looking for animal non-profit services or looking to adopt, there are many in our community waiting to assist you. And one of them is the Broome County Humane Society.
The Broome County Humane Society has been very busy this month, and you can help them continue to be successful and a great asset to our community. They note in their latest newsletter about the fact that 2020 has been a bad year for non profits and they would love nothing more than to turn that around for 2021 with your help, of course!
And one of the ways the Broome County Humane Society is hoping to do that, is with their Dine Local 2021 raffle. It's a 500 dollar value with a winner being randomly drawn on January 1st, 2021. All proceeds will benefit the Broome County Humane Society. Check out their website for complete details.
And while you are on the Broome County Humane Society website, check out their Volunteer of the Week, Pet of the Week plus all the pets up for adoption, how to volunteer, see many pictures, and learn about the many services they offer including spay/neuter and emergency services.
