What’s Happening This Weekend

Featuring rides; food, and games, Plus Friday night at 6 and 7 it's the FMX Motocross Stunt Show. Saturday at 7 P.M. It's the Super Stock Modified Tractor Pulls. Sunday at 7 is the Diesel and Gas Pick-up Truck Pull.

Friday night is the rescheduled date for the 38 Special Concert at Tioga Downs Casino. Show time is 8 P.M. Tickets are still available for 15 dollars and available at the Tioga Downs Gift Shop. For each ticket sold, Tioga Downs will donate 15 dollars to the Southern Tier Veterans Support Group. Keep in mind that part RT 17 is closed between Exit 63 and Exit 62 (the Tioga Downs Exit). There is a detour in place, but you will want to give yourself extra time to get there if you are traveling from the Binghamton or Owego area.

The Binghamton will host New Hamshire this weekend. Friday night's game is at 7:05 P.M. with Fireworks after the game. Saturday's game is 7:05 featuring Mr. Met. Sunday's game is at Sunday's game starts at 1, and it's Harry Potter Day!

The Binghamton Devil's will host their open house Saturday at the Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena from 11 A.M. to 3 P.M. It's a free event that will feature tours and the unveiling of the new team logo and jerseys.

This Saturday at 8:45 P.M. The Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park will host Family Movie Night in the new Amphitheater. The movie will be "Finding Dory". Admission is free but donations will be accepted. Concessions will be available for purchase.

Saturday and Sunday, it's the 11th Annual Coventry Blueberry Festival starting at 8 A.M. both days. It's being held at the Wrench Wranch, 123 Wrench Lane in Bainbridge. It will feature a blueberry pancake breakfast, chicken b-b-q, vendors, kids games, pony rides and live music.

This Saturday is the 2nd annual Bandera Family Christmas in July 5k Run and Walk. It's taking place at the Vestal Coal House starting at 9. All money raised helps the Bandera Family supply Christmas dinners to the hungry in our area.

The Broome County Humane Society's annual Duck Derby will take place this Sunday from Noon till 4 at the Holiday Inn, Downtown Binghamton. There will be venders, music, games, animals and more. You can adopt a rubber duck for $5. If your duck wins the race, you will win $5,000.
