
Weekend Events in Binghamton
Looking for something to do this weekend? There are a couple of fairs going on that you can check out as well as a cool fundraiser if you are into muscle cars like I am. You can also check out animals while you help sick children and there's a music and comedy festival in town as well. Here are this weekend's events.

Photo:istockphoto Kirkwood Fair
The Kirkwood Fair will take place Thursday from 6 PM till 11 P.M., Friday from 6 P.M. till midnight, and Saturday from 11 A.M. Till Midnight. There will be rides, live entertainment, food, vendors, and a kids corner. There will also be fireworks on Friday night. The Kirkwood Fair website has all the details.

ThinkStock Chenango County Fair
The 170th Chenango County Fair runs through August 13th at the Fairgrounds. With rides, food, vendors, live stock and more. You can get the full schedule of events on the Chenango County Fair website.
Newark Valley Days
The Newark Valley Days are this Friday and Saturday in Newark Valley. There's the annual parade, food, drink, entertainment, vendors, crafts, exhibits, and fireworks. You can check out their Facebook page for all the info.

Nancy K. Free Photo Ava's Little Heroes
Ava's Little Heroes is an event being held at Animal Adventure in Harpursville. Half the admission price will go to help local families whose children are experiencing medical issues. The park will be filled with Super Heroes and they encourage you to dress up as well. It's taking place this Saturday. Get all you need to know on the Animal Adventure website.

Jack Taylor / Getty Images American Muscle Cruise-In
The fourth annual American Muscle Cruise-in will take place at Matthew's GMC Center on Old Vestal Road this Sunday from noon till 4. Along with vintage and new muscle cars, there will be food, live entertainment and more. It's a fund raiser for the Mercy House of the Southern Tier. Admission is free. Getty Images Music and Comedy Festival
The Music and Comedy Festival will be held Sunday starting at 1 P.M. at Traditions at the Glen. Featuring live music and nationally touring comedians. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door. Check out the Music and Comedy Festival website for lists of bands and comedians.
