What’s Going on This Weekend
Another busy weekend of outdoor events in our area. Let’s hope Mother Nature is kind to us. From the L.G.&T. Tennis Challenger and the Martini Walk, to Movies in the Park and the Tioga County Kids Picnic, there’s a lot to choose from. Here is a list of seven events to choose from
The yearly event, the Levene, Goulden, and Thompson Tennis Challenger, starts Saturday at noon and runs through next Sunday the 30th at Recreation Park in Binghamton. See future tennis stars battle it out in our backyard.
This Saturday is the annual Martini Walk in Downtown Binghamton. You can go from bar to bar sampling a unique variety of Martinis. Tickets are sold out!
This Saturday starting at 9 a.m. it’s the 41st. annual Arts and Crafts Fair in downtown Greene
This Saturday at the Owego Fair Grounds it the Tioga County Kids Picnic from noon till 4. It features food, bouncy houses, games and more.
The Kirkwood Fire Department will host the 3rd annual Movie In The Park on Saturday night. The movie will be “Beauty and the Beast”. The event will be held at Veteran’s River Park, on Main St. in Kirkwood. Food, drinks, and snacks are available starting at 6:30 with the movie starting at dusk.
The annual event called All Paws for a Cause Dog Walk will take place on Sunday starting at 10am at Otsiningo Park in Binghamton. Proceeds to help with cancer prevention.
This Sunday starting 1 at Matthew’s Volkswagen on the Vestal Parkway, it’s the first ever Volkswagen Cruise-in. Featuring antique and classic Volkswagens as well as Porsches and Audis. There will be food trucks, the zoo mobile, music and more. Proceeds to benefit the Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park
