The Broome County Public Library is currently collecting seed donations for its Seed Exchange Library. Packets should be marked with plant name and instructions. Donations accepted through January 23rd. For more information call the library at 778-6451.
Sanitaria Springs Fire Company, Route 7, is having a spaghetti dinner on Saturday, January 9^th at 4pm until all are served. Donation at the door is seven dollars; children five through twelve – five dollars; under five are free. Salad bar and all you can eat.
The Cortland County Sheriff’s Department is offering a free snowmobile safety course on January 9^th from 8am to 4pm at the Cortland County Regional Training Center, 999 State Route 13, Cortland. To attend, pre-register by call the sheriff’s office at 607-758-5599 extension 7.

American Legion Post 89, 118 South Jensen Road, Vestal, invites all to the “Hope For Lisa Welch Benefit” on January 16^th from noon until 6. Spaghetti & Meatball dinner, raffles, 50/50, DJ and more! Money raised will help Lisa in her battle with ovarian cancer.
The Broome County Office for Aging, in conjunction with local school districts, is offering indoor walking for seniors now through April 29^th. To register visit your local senior center or call 778-2411.
