The Hungry Ear – a monthly library program presenting dramatic portrayals of celebrated short stories – will meet on Monday, August 31st at 5:30pm at the Broome County Public Library, 185 Court Street Binghamton. Free and open to the public.

The Nimmonsburg United Methodist Church, 918 Upper Front Street, Binghamton, is having a rummage sale on September 11th and September 12th starting at 9 a.m. September 12th there will also be a Chicken Barbeque beginning at 11 a.m. with a cost of eight dollars a person for a half chicken dinner.
