What One Southern Tier Restaurant Would You Take An Out-Of-Towner To?
My latest question to the world of social media followers was born out of a conversation I was having with a friend.
He mentioned that an old friend and spouse were coming to visit for a few days from the west coast, and he was trying to think of where to take them for an enjoyable dinner in the Southern Tier.
Well, we have so many restaurants to choose from. And of course a large variety of locally owned restaurants that would be a perfect place to dine. I would have a hard time coming up with just one answer.
And that's why I asked the question on social media "- Your friend/relative is visiting Binghamton for the first time! What restaurant are you taking them to?" I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of answers.
Of course there were the usual, I would cook for them at home, which is a good idea if you are a good cook, but wouldn't you rather take them out instead? Maybe they would pay for your meal as well!
And then there were the Bah! Humbugs that nixed the idea altogether, because, well that's what they do.
I lost count of the number of suggestions. But there were a few local restaurants that had quite a few mentions. Here are 25 that have been mentioned several times.
