Live TV is just like live radio, once you say something, it's out there and you can't take it back. You have to focus on what you are saying or reading because if you let your mind wonder or you get distracted, you might say something you didn't want to.

I played an audio clip today of a meteorologist in Canada named Jordan Witzel. He works for Global News. While doing the weather, they went into the station's "Healthy Activity for the Day" segment. Jordan should have proof read the teleprompter first. Today's activity was "swinging", as in what you do on a swing set in a backyard or at a playground. Witzel's mind made him think of the sexual kind of swinging. The results were hilarious. The co-anchors couldn't save him. They lost it. The male co-anchor even throws some fuel on the fire.

Having done radio with a co-host for 15 years I known when one losses it, it's hard for the other one to do anything but laugh.
