Tioga Sheriff’s Office Thanks Public for Stolen Equipment Recovery
Tioga County Sheriff’s officials say they’ve recovered a piece of construction equipment that was reported stolen in the Town of Spencer at the end of September but the investigation is continuing.

Authorities reported the Caterpillar skid steer and Bobcat grapple attachment were taken between September 28 and October 1.
Deputies November 1 arrested 24-year-old Zachary Dean of Waverly in connection with the theft and charged him with grand larceny.

He’s been ordered to appear in town of Spencer Court in December.
Authorities say they expect to make additional arrests and file additional charges.
The Tioga County Sheriff’s Office issued a statement thanking the public for their help and tips that resulted in recovery of the stolen equipment.
