Wow, hard to believe it's been a year since we had a record-breaking Food-A-Bago food drive for Broome County CHOW. Last year, we raised over 10,000 pounds in food and monetary donations.

And of course, that is all due to the wonderful people in our area, like you, who stopped by with food or money to help families in Broome County during the holiday season.

We are back again this year with a Hillcrest RV camper in the parking lot of the Weis Food Market, 1290 Upper Front Street Binghamton.

It's not just Whale personalities who will be present throughout the 7 day food drive. Radio personalities from our other Townsquare Media radio stations (98.1 The Hawk, 1290 AM WNBF and Kiss 104.1) will be on hand also.

Our hours in the camper will be from 6 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday November 4th through the 8th, 8 am to 8 pm Saturday and Sunday November 9th and 10th, and then we will finish up on Monday November 11th from 6 am to 9 am.

During the hours we are not there, we'll have a CHOW barrel for you to drop off food items. You can also drop off non-perishable food at our sponsor locations - Gary's U Pull It, Colesville Road, Binghamton and several participating area Subway locations.

The Grocery Cart Challenge will continue again this year. Stop by with a grocery cart full of food and challenge your friends, family, other businesses. It's all in good fun and goes to a great cause.

Even if it's only one item of food or one dollar, every donation counts. By the way, one dollar allows Broome County CHOW to purchase four meals. And of course, we love to meet you, so stop by, chat with us and help families in Broome County beginning Monday November 4th.
