The Binghamton Rumble Ponies Have Us Thinking Spring
Even though the wind chills made it feel like two below this morning, spring is really right around the corner.
The first day of spring, at least according to the calendar, is March 20th, one month from tomorrow. Even though things don't really start feeling like spring in the Binghamton area until at least mid-April or so.
And even though the construction project at NYSEG Stadium is still taking place, they should all be completed by the Rumble Ponies' home opener on April 11th. when they host the Erie SeaWolves.
The Binghamton Rumble Ponies single game tickets are now on sale. You can purchase tickets at the NYSEG Stadium Box Office and you can check out the schedule and purchase tickets through the Binghamton Rumble Ponies' website by clicking here.
Some of the notable games this season include; Jacob DeGrom bobblehead night on Saturday, May 11th, Tim Tebow bobblehead night on Tuesday, July 16th, and Firework Fridays. Fireworks will light up the skies over the stadium on 11 different Friday nights throughout the season.
Some of the new improvements at NYSEG Stadium will include brand new seats with cup holders (which is always a good thing to hold your beer) a brand new video board, a new sound system, and brand new turf.
So next time you walk outside and old man winter is nipping at your nose, think warm thoughts because baseball season will be here before you know it.
