Suspect in 2 Killings Dropped Off in Front of Pennsylvania Walmart

Police in Pennsylvania are searching for a college student suspected of killing two people in Connecticut.

Authorities say 23-year-old Peter Manfredonia was dropped off by an Uber driver in front of a Walmart store in East Stroudsburg.

Manfredonia is a student at the University of Connecticut. He is being sought in connection with two homicides and a kidnapping.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, a stolen vehicle Manfredonia used to flee after killing the second person was recovered.

Based on interviews with an Uber driver and security video, investigators determined the suspect walked behind the Walmart store onto train tracks. He had a duffel bag filled with guns he stole during a home invasion.

Police say they don't believe Manfredonia has ties to the region and he did not have a vehicle. They say he may solicit ride-sharing services - possibly using a third party - to elude authorities.

Manfredoinia was described as white; six feet four inches tall; weighing 240 pounds with short hair. He had been wearing dark-colored shorts and a white t-shirt.

Police say Manfredonia is considered armed and dangerous.
