Stressful Roads I Have Traveled [Gallery]

I love to travel. You put me behind the wheel of a vehicle, give me a destination, and I'll be on my way. Many years ago, one of my co-workers had just gotten a teaching job in Las Vegas, and needed someone to drive one of his vehicles to his new home. I quickly volunteered and it was the first and unfortunately the only cross county trip I have driven. It was one of the most fun things I have ever done.

If I had to explain why I love to drive, I guess it's a combination of freedom and seeing the countryside, especially if I'm on a two lane country road. But there have been some roadways that have made for a stressful ride. I have to admit, I do love the challenge of a busy roadway. Here's some highways I have traveled that were a bit stressful, but at the same time a challenge I'm glad I took.
