According to KDKA TV in Pittsburg, the Governor of Pennsylvania, Tom Wolf is asking everyone who resides in the state to wears masks whenever they leave their home.

He’s asking people to reserve N95 and paper masks for healthcare workers. He says you should use a cloth or homemade mask if you need to leave the house. - KDKA 2

KDKA-TV goes on to mention that Doctor Rachel Levine, Secretary of Health for the State of Pennsylvania is quoted as saying “Your mask protects me from COVID-19, and my mask protects you from COVID-19.”

It makes sense to me. I'm not aware of any such suggestion for residents of New York State, but the questions needs to be addressed now - should New Yorkers be asked to follow the guidelines set forth by our neighbors to the south?

I would feel weird wearing a mask, but it it helps stop the spread, I'm all for it. I still travel to work everyday, and am in contact with other co-workers. I go to the grocery store when necessary, go out for local restaurant take-out food and at times, come into close contact (no less than six feet, of course) with other essential workers.

With close human contact like that, maybe it's time we New Yorkers put on a mask. Your thoughts?
