Shelter Slam returns this Saturday at Endwell Greens in Endwell. This year they're only having one shelter slam and they are making it count. 20 bands will be on two different stages with all the money raised going to benefit animal shelters in the Broome County area. Some of the bands that will be playing include Joey Belladonna's Chief Big Way, Battery (The Metallica tribute band), Wreckless Marci, Recycled Zombies, The Kill, O.C.D., Burning Moonlight, Hating Amy, Jimmy Jones and the Family Jewels, Forgotten Sun and more. Admission is $13 and it's an all-ages show. It's an indoor event so weather won't be a factor. Some of the shelters that will benefit from this event include; The B.C. Humane Society, Every Dogs Dream, Jimmy J's Avian Rescue, Willows Wings, S.P.E.A.K., Pibbles and More, and A.M.P.S. There will be raffle prizes, food, and a day full of rock. Doors open at noon and the show starts at 1 p.m. And, 99.1 The Whale will be doing a live broadcast starting at 1. p.m.

So get out of the house and into Endwell Greens this Saturday for Shelter Slam 2018. It's a great way to spend a Saturday while helping animals in local shelters. Some of the shelters will be on hand with pictures of pets that are available for adoption as well. In case you are looking for a new family member.
