Troopers arrested 23-year-old Christopher Youngs Junior of Maryland, New York and 27-year-old John Clark of Morris, New York on July 10 on felony burglary and misdemeanor criminal possession of stolen property charges in connection with a break-in at a garage in Roxbury where tools were stolen.

Now, five more people connected with Youngs and Cark are facing charges.

32-year-old Joseph Santiago Junior of Burlington Flats, New York is charged with felony criminal possession of stolen property.

A search of a house in New Lisbon owned by 32-year-old Charles Hall of Edmeston turned up guns, ammunition, tools and household items that had been stolen.

 Also arrested following the search of Hall’s home were 23-year-old Kayla VanPelt of Edmeston and 59-year-old Henry Schmidt of Garrattsville, New York for felony and misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of stolen property. 56-year-old Samuel Madero of Morris, New York is charged with misdemeanor criminal possession of stolen property.

Authorities say all seven people are linked to over 40 different cases investigated between the State Police, local Sheriff’s Departments and local Police Departments

The investigation is continuing and more charges are expected as detectives continue to work through open cases.
