Tioga County health officials say another positive COVID-19 case has been confirmed.

The announcement was made Monday afternoon. The county's first coronavirus case was reported on March 14.

Health department workers are trying to determine who may have had close contact with the newly-confirmed patient. County officials said they would release no other information about the person, including details on the patient's condition or location.

As of Sunday, 67 people in Tioga County were in mandatory quarantine and eight people were in precautionary quarantine.

The health department reported it was awaiting the results of 68 COVID-19 tests.

No coronavirus testing centers have been established or announced for Tioga County.
