Rodgers or Ryan in the Superbowl
We all witnessed what Aaron Rodgers did last week against the Cowboys, and this Sunday we’ll see him match up against one of the leagues best Quarterbacks, Matt Ryan.
Aaron Rodgers is one of the best Quarterback in the NFL today, he has been to one super bowl and defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers with MVP honors.
Rodgers has passed for 36,827 yards, thrown 297 touchdowns and completed 65.1% of his passes, his career passer rating is 104.
Matt Ryan has passed for 37,701 yards, threw 240 touchdowns and completed 64.9% of his passes, his career rating is 93.6.
Matt Ryan has never been to the Superbowl, but he is putting up incredible numbers this year, setting a Falcons franchise record for passing yardage, set a record for consecutive games with at least 200 passing yards, and has the most completions after nine season in NFL history, and has hit 13 receivers for touchdowns, which is an NFL record.
The Green Bay Packers have been to eight NFC Championship games and have won five, they have made it to the Superbowl five times winning four Lombardi trophies. (8 championships pre 1966)
The Atlanta Falcons have been in three NFC Championship games and have lost two, they made it to the Superbowl one time in 1999 and lost to the Denver Broncos.
This will be the final game played in the Georgia Dome as the Falcons will move to a new stadium next year, so expect a lot of noise
The Falcons are 4 point favorites at the time of this blog, but those odds will make no difference come game time.
Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons will host Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers, Sunday at 3:05pm.
Good Luck Fans!
