Resources Offered to Help Broome Businesses Survive Coronavirus Pandemic
Broome County businesses are being offered some emergency assistance to get through the coronavirus pandemic.
The head of The Agency and Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce, Stacey Duncan, says the groups have assembled a Response, Recovery and Resiliency Task force and have a toolkit available listing available support services and loan programs. The toolkit can be found at www.GreaterBinghamtonChamber.com.
A Broome County Emergency Loan Fund is offering lending with no equity requirement, no principal and interest payments for 12 months, expedited closing and application and closing fees waived.
Loans will be reviewed on a first-come, first served bases and there is about $1-million in funding available.
The Agency’s accounts can also be used to help businesses in Chenango, Cortland, Delaware, Tioga, Tompkins and Otesgo Counties.
