Being a cancer survivor myself, and the fact that my wife is a cancer survivor as well, I couldn't say no when I was asked to be an ambassador and m.c. for this year's Relay For Life of Binghamton. I have friends that are still battling the disease and close friends that are in remission as well.

This year the walk is returning to Macarthur park on Vestal Ave for the first time since the last flood. All the money raised goes to the American Cancer Society to help find a cure and to help those that are still fighting the good fight.

You can still get a team in or donate to a team if you'd like. Here is the link to my page.

Everyone knows someone who has had or has cancer. The treating of cancer has come a long way but there is still a long way to go.

So if you can help, great. If you can't just keep the people that are dealing with this disease in your thoughts and prayers if you are a praying person.

If you are going to this year's relay, I will see you there.
