We all know someone who has had or has cancer. I am a cancer survivor myself. My wife is a cancer survivor. One of my best friends is a cancer survivor. Then there are those who lost their battle with this ferocious disease. I just lost my brother to cancer last month. I know about 10 people personally that are getting either chemo, radiation, or both.

The Relay for Life in Binghamton is this Saturday at Macarthur Park on Vestal Ave. People, many who are cancer survivors themselves, walk to raise money to help the American Cancer Society so they can continue their research for cures, as well as to help the people who are still fighting this disease.

Treatments for cancer patients have come a long way but there is still a lot more to be done. You can help those with cancer by putting in a team or by supporting an existing team like mine.

If you would like to donate to my team you can do that by clicking on this link. Donations are tax deductible and all the money raised goes to help find a cure and to help those who are battling cancer.

They are calling it Power In Purple and we could be a very powerful force if we all pull together as a team.
