Have you had a chance to check out the newest professional hockey team in Binghamton?  If you haven't seen the Binghamton Black Bears in action at the Visions Federal Credit Union, then you've been missing out on exciting hockey action.

One of the complaints that I heard about the last hockey team that played in Binghamton was that they played a defensive style. I think that was just a nice way to say that they only would try to win by a 2-1 score. A win is a win but it's much more exciting when multiple goals are scored.

Ask anyone that has seen the Black Bears in action and they'll tell you that there is a vibe in the building that they haven't felt in years. So what are you waiting for? A special night that will sell out the Visions Veterans Memorial Arena? (I sound like that car insurance/Tag Team commercial...Scoop! There It Is, SPRINKLES.)

Binghamton Black Bears Operation Sellout

On Friday, January 7th, it's Operation Sellout when the Port Huron Prowlers come to town. The Black Bears are looking to fill the arena to capacity by offering EVERYONE (not just first-timers) tickets at a reduced price. Every seat is available for only $8, so get them now so you don't miss out.

Face-off is a 7 p.m. but make plans to get there early so you don't any of the action. If you can't make it on Friday, the Black Bears and Prowlers will be back on the ice on Saturday, January 8th with music before the game from the Yada Yada's.

Once again this year, I'm doing Chuck-a-Puck between the 2nd and 3rd period, and this year, they'll be giving away a 2022 CFMOTO ATV. I'll see you at the game and LET'S GO BLACK BEARS!
