An abandoned industrial property across the street from West Endicott Park is being transformed with the construction of an office complex.

Work resumed on the $5 million project at the site of the old Endicott Johnson Fair Play Annex in May after a two-month delay because of the COVID-19 pandemic shutdown.

A 23,000-square-foot structure is being constructed at North Page Avenue and Maple Street.

National Pipe and Plastics will move its administrative offices from Vestal to West Endicott when the project is completed.

The site is located just east of the factory the company opened about six years ago.

National Pipe and Plastics received an $800,000 state grant to help pay for the project.

Company representatives could not be reached Friday for information on when the headquarters will be relocated to the West Endicott site.
