National Pipe Moves Corporate Offices from Vestal to West Endicott
Workers have moved into a new headquarters building for National Pipe and Plastics in the town of Union.
The office complex was constructed on North Page Avenue, just east of the company's PVC pipe factory on Mills Avenue.
National Pipe shifted production from Vestal to the West Endicott site about seven years ago. The company also operates a factory in Greensboro, North Carolina.
The new headquarters facility was built on property National Pipe purchased from Broome County for $100,000 in 2018.
An abandoned Endicott Johnson shoe factory on the site across from West Endicott Park was demolished.
Construction on the office building was slowed by the Covid-19 pandemic.
National Pipe's corporate offices had been located at Vestal and Commerce roads in Vestal.
