A Broome County-based manufacturing company is preparing to move its corporate offices from the town of Vestal to the town of Union.

National Pipe and Plastics is expected to move into its 22,690-square-foot headquarters complex in West Endicott next month.

The company opened a large production facility on a 35-acre site off Mills Avenue in March 2014.

National Pipe and Plastics acquired the property for the new complex from Broome County government for $100,000.

As part of the deal, the company demolished an abandoned Endicott Johnson building on the site.

National Pipe and Plastics president David Culbertson did not return a call seeking comment on the project.

The company had been trying to sell its Vestal Road property, where its offices now are located. It's not known whether a buyer has been found.
