The NBA season is entering the second quarter of the season and the New York Knicks are becoming a team that is finding ways to win.

Phil Jackson told Knicks fans to be patience as the team went through a rebuilding process, and last year the Knicks had the number four pick in the draft and selected Latvian Forward -Center Kristaps Porzingis.

The selection was followed by a round of boos from the fans but that quickly changed when they saw him in action.

This year the team has added to the core of Carmelo Anthony and Porzingus with Guards Derrick Rose, Brandon Jennings and Courtney Lee, and star center Joakim Noah,

I am also impressed with the support players that Knicks organization have signed like Guard Justin Holiday, Forward Mindaugas Kuzminskas and centers Marshall Plumlee and Willy Hernangomez.

Kyle O Quinn was one of the faces from last year and his play has been exceptional over the last several games.

The Knicks have won 9 of their last 12 games and last nights win in Miami was their 4th in a row.

The team is right in the middle of the Eastern Conference playoff contenders at 12-9 but have been playing better than any other team in the conference.

I hope this blog doesn't jinx them because its been a while since we have had a team in New York with this kind of chemistry.

The Knicks will host Lebron James and the NBA champion Cavaliers tonight at Madison Square Garden.

This will be a good test to see where the team is 20 plsu games in.

Go Knicks
