It's time to do some spring cleaning if you haven't done so already. That's because you may have some or a lot of stuff that you don't use or need anymore. And that could be a treasure for someone else.

Yes, garage and yard sales are allowed to happen again in New York State. Some counties that are in the yellow or green phase in Pennsylvania have already been for cleared garage and yard sales. Last weekend when I took a ride from my campground into Wysox, Pennsylvania, I noticed many yard and garage sales being set up in towns along the way. At first I thought it was a town-wide effort, but I think it may have been the first good weekend for these events to happen, and I'm sure many families were  very eager to sell their stuff and make some cash.

According to a report from  Spectrum News, in New York, Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul has given the green light for garage and yard sales. But guidelines must be in place including everyone wearing face masks, observing the six foot distancing and no more than ten people at a time. Keeping to ten people or less, could be a challenge. Not sure if those holding yard and garage sales really want to deal with turning people away or making them stay in their car until others have left.

I'm sure many are happy to get back to a little bit more normalcy. Maybe I should do the same. I've got more junk, ah, I mean good stuff that may be of good use in the hands of someone else. My problem is, I have a hard time letting go, even if it's something I haven't used or even seen, tucked away for years.
