The question I posed was "What is your favorite/most iconic Southern Tier NY or Northern Tier PA area landmark?" I was pleased with the amount of answers. If I were asked what is one of my favorites, I think it would be Endicott and Johnson City arches. When I moved to this area, they stood out in my opinion.
Another landmark, also in my opinion, is the New York State Office building. My reasoning is that it (along with a few other tall Downtown Binghamton buildings) gives the city a skyline, unlike many other cities of similar size.
But enough of my favorite landmarks. Here are some other landmarks from those who answered my question. Note that the majority are in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
