I usually don't make New Year's resolutions because most of them last a couple of days if not a couple of hours. But this year I'm thinking about changing a few things.

I definitely want to quit smoking for good. I probably won't start that process until after the Super Bowl. It's just easier after football season because I tend to have a few adult beverages while watching the games. And when I have adult beverages, the urge to smoke intensifies.

I also want to set myself on a budget. As many times as I've tried this in the past, I always seem to get off track. But I'm hoping in 2019 I will be more disciplined when it comes to saving money.

Another resolution for 2019 is to get in shape. Of course I say this every year and actually last year I was doing great until Easter rolled around and that's when the train got derailed.

I also want to procrastinate less in 2019. I've always been a procrastinator and I don't know if that will ever change, but I would like to become more organized and stop putting things off.

I'm a person who believes New Year's Day is just another day, but I also feel that it's time for me to make some changes. So I guess I will set some New Year's resolutions and see how long they last this time.
