Knebworth Park in England has been rocking with shows for over 42 years. The rock world's best have played there over those many years.

It was on this date in 1979 when the concert featured The Commander Cody Band, Fairport Connection, Southside Johnny, Todd Rundgren and Led Zeppelin, among other bands and artists. Actually the festival was spread out over two dates - August 4th and August 11th.

The report was around 120,000 people enjoyed the first show which was the first time in four years that Led Zeppelin had played in the U.K. Reviews were less than kind, and even the members of the band knew it wasn't their best, after being out of the live concert business for the past two years.

Take a look at Led Zeppelin performing Achilles Last Stand during the 1979 Knebworth Park Festival and judge for yourself.
