The hardest part of doing morning radio for me is getting out of bed. I've never been one to just hop out of bed. I was always the last one to go home at night afraid I might miss something fun. I was always driving home when people were driving into work. Now it's the other way around. I've done mornings for 16 years now and I'm still not used to the alarm going off that early in the morning. Sometimes I hit snooze so many times that I actually shut my alarm off. I've also been known to hear my alarm and put it into some kind of dream to the point where I ignore it. Part of the problem is that I can't go to bed early. I climb in bed anywhere from nine to eleven. And sometimes I don't fall asleep till midnight.

This morning was one of those days. I vaguely remember hitting snooze once on one of my three alarms that are set every morning. Next thing I know, I open my eyes and it's 4;45. Shhh, don't tell my boss. I'm supposed to be here before five.

It would be awesome if mornings happened later in the day. Will I ever get used to the alarm going off at 3:30 in the morning? I highly doubt it!
