The NBA regular season starts one week from today! The league will bring some contenders from last year and a few surprises that may include the Orange and Blue.

The New York Knicks have shown their preseason teams that they're all about team play and defense, which is something Phil Jackson couldn't stress more when he was talking about the rebuilding of this team.

Coming off the worse regular season in franchise history, the rebuilding process started with the Knicks first round draft pick, Latvia power forward 7' 1" Kristaps Porzingis.

The Knicks other big pick was Notre Dame stand out guard Jerian Grant. His speed and the ability to find the open man has already made an impact in the preseason,

I also love the play of  Robin Lopez, Kyle O'Quinn, Derrick Williams, and Sasha Vujacic.

Last year's rookie Cleanthony Early has shown some explosive moves to the basket and Langston Galloway has improved his game from last year too.

Carmello Anthony will have some strong players to help win games this year.

The Knicks are 4 and 1 in preseason, and will close out the last exhibition match tonight in Boston against the Celtics.

This team look ready to play together as a group with a common denominator to win games.

Derek Fisher and Phil Jackson both know the importance of unselfish play, and I'm excited to see what the new season will bring for Knicks fans.

Let's go, Knicks!
