Police in Johnson City say a village resident faces felony charges in connection with an incident that occurred during a disturbance with a woman.

Authorities say 54-year-old Anthony Hutcherson has been charged with third-degree robbery and third-degree criminal mischief.

Police were called to a Grand Avenue residence around 8:15 p.m. Saturday to investigate a domestic dispute.

A woman told officers that Hutcherson grabbed her during an argument causing her to drop to the floor.

Hutcherson then allegedly forcibly removed a cell phone from the woman's hand. The phone is said to have been broken when it was thrown to the ground.

An order of protection was issued following Hutcherson's arrest.
