Employers have faced an uphill battle in motivating and keeping employees over the course of the last few years due to safety issues, burn out issues, and more. So, Forbes decided to teamed up with the research company Statista in order to compile its fourth annual list of America's Best Employers By State.

The results of the study were based on information gathered from 70,000 Americans, all of whom work for a business which employs at least 500 employees and among the final list of America's Best Employers By State is one right in our community - Binghamton University.

Forbes named Binghamton University the 52nd best employer in the state of New York, and the ninth overall in its industry. In a statement, Binghamton University President Harvey Stenger said, “These annual rankings further solidify our position as not only a great educational institution, but also a great community for everyone working on campus.”

Binghamton University is no stranger to accolades. In 2019, the University was ranked the 38th best value college institution in the United States. In 2022, Binghamton University ranked higher than any other SUNY School in Forbes's "America's Top Colleges" list, coming in at 65th place and along public universities, Forbes ranked Binghamton University 22nd in the entire United States.
