Tioga Downs owner Jeff Gural has donated a lot of money to Andrew Cuomo's campaigns but he says he's not making any more contributions.

The Wall Street Journal reports Gural and some other big past donors have stopped making political donations to the governor, who is the subject of state and federal investigations.

According to the story, Gural doesn't like the way Cuomo conducts business. He indicated he had felt threatened to donate in the past.

Gural is not pleased with the way the state decided to legalize mobile sports betting. He also expressed concerns about sexual harassment allegations made against Cuomo.

Gural said the governor is "smart, but he's a bully and his tactics are a disgrace." He also told the Journal that "people should know how he runs the state."

The newspaper reported Rich Azzopardi, a Cuomo senior advisor, said Gural had sought changes to financial arrangements related to his gambling properties. Azzopardi said Gural is "just lashing out because the scales aren't tipped in his favor."
